Leave aside every other thought, just say Hari, Hari, have faith in him, and cross the sea of world.

Shri Ramana Maharshi

Shri Ramana Maharshi
As a deer seized by a tiger (cannot escape), so a disciple on whom the Guru's gracious looks have rested will never be let go, but will surely be led to the State of Kaivalyam. (Guru Ramana Vachana Mala, 143)

Reflections

"Yoga is not an ancient myth buried in oblivion. It is the most valuable inheritance of the present. It is the essential need of today and the culture of tomorrow."

Swami Satyaananda Saraswati

Reflections

It is possible that beauty exists to enrich our soul, to open our heart, and to expand our mind?
Tarthang Tulku

Reflections

Light is essential for our being to unfold.
Like flower petals spreading out in the sunlight,
the bud of the human heart opens to beauty,
while light transmits that beauty
                                                       Talthang Tulku

Reflectons

Spiritual knowledge means the knowledge of everything that exists in generality as well as in particularity. It is the knowledge of the highest cause, the knowledge of which means the knowledge of all its effects also.
From the Mundaka Upanishad.

Reflections

As one adores, so does one become. Who will not adore from the deepest recesses of the heart the best things conceivable, which goes deep into the feelings, on which one broods for ever and ever.
From an Analysis of the Brahma Sutra.

Reflections

The practice of yoga is the art of contacting the Absolute. There is no such thing as contacting the absolute in the literal sense. This union is a metaphorical one, it is not a physical contact. It is metaphorical in the sense that in Yoga there is the union of our consciousness in the present context with the supreme essence that we are.
From the Essence of the Aitareya and Taittiriya Upanishads.

Reflections

"The highest meditation consists in the recognition of the Self in all things, so that there is no object before the Self to think or deal with. It is here that the mind melts like an exhausted camphor cake in the process of self-sublimation." Swami Krishnananada
